This guide is mainly for the Katana Weapon in game.

If you decide to use it to another weapon(e.g. Bat or Golfclub or any other meelee weapon) you will lose the image on the weapon the top right part of the game itself but you can still use the weapon.

For this you just have to use 'GGMM' tool which is also used to modify cars in game.

If you don't have this tool on your GTA Vice City included in you installer.

You can just look for this tool in the tools section in gtainside.com.com

https://www.gtainside.com/en/vicecity/tools/

Step 1
Open GGMM

Step 1.1
Before we proceed, I highly suggest that you create a back up of your file. You can go to the Darth Vader Skin folder and read the Read Me If You Can and Read Me If You Can pt. 2 for referrence. I will not dive deeper in this one on how to revert back to the original since it follows the same principle since its the same .txd and .dff files

Step 2
Make sure you extract everything on the same folder where your gta-vc.exe is to avoid any error because that was what I did and I do not have any error so far.

Step 3
Open GGMM tool.

Step 4
On the bottom left part you will see 'Cars', 'Weapons' and 'Browser'. Of course you will have to click on weapon since the Lightsaber is a weapon and not a car.

Step 5
You can look at the weapons one by one if you want so that you will also know what should be the corresponding file name of each weapon.(e.g. katana has a file name of katana also but other weapons have different file name like the rocket launcher which has rocketla as its file name.)

Step 6
Right click on the weapon you wish to change and then click on 'Manual Mod Installer'

Step 7
After that you can see the DFF Model and TXD Textures and on the right side of those is a 'folder' like image.

Step 8
Click on that image and choose the corresponding .dff and .txd file. Make sure it has the same file name as what I've said if Step 5 since it will not change if the file name is incorrect.

Step 9
Once you already added both .dff and txd file, on the bottom right part you can see the 'Install' button. Just click on that button and you will see the image change realtime.

Again I cannot emphasize more that I do not own this mod.
I mainly created this for the sole purpose of keeping it small and concise.

Shoutout to the Original Creator of this Lightsabers. Thank you so much.
